  • Helped in the design and development of an enterprise packaging automated logistics system that aided in the documenting of packaging processes, insured compliance with specifications, improved productivity and efficiency, monitored paper usage and inventory, and integrated with packaging machinery. The system was developed using Visual Basic 6.0, COM, Crystal Reports and SQL Server 2000.Assisted in the implementation of business integration software at a large pharmaceutical production plant. This software used adapters to automate data collection transactions that integrated to BPCS residing on IBM AS/400. Technologies used included BPCS adapters, HTML adapters, EDI adapters Microsoft SQL 2000, Automated Data Collections, and scripting technologies.

  • Involved with the implementation of an intranet solution at a rubber and plastics engineering plant with the use of Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server, and Microsoft Content Manager Server. This solution needed to provide users with the ability to maintain online content along with the integration of current intranet applications. Technologies used: Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Content Manager, SQL server 2000, ASP, JavaScript, VB Script, DHTML, XML, XSL, IIS 5.0.

  • Was a designer and developer for the customization and implementation of a customized web based CRM solution called Onyx for the Health Care industry. This web based solution allowed health care companies the ability to administer and provide subscription capabilities to various services that tracked OSHA required information. Through the use of Onyx, users receive a complete customer centric e-business solution. This solution implemented the use of a COM, n-tier architecture. Technologies used: ASP, JavaScript, VB Script, DHTML, SQL 2000, COM, VB 6.0, ADO, IIS 5.0.

  • Placed in charge of converting Visual Basic 6.0 components into the new Microsoft .net Framework. The current application took signatures generated from an e-pad device and placed them within PDF documents. Users had the ability to sign and un-sign these related documents. All code within the prototype was converted to Visual Basic .Net equivalents along with integration to currently developed c# components. Technology used included: Visual Basic 6.0, Visual Basic .Net, c#, SQL Server 2000, Adobe Acrobat, e-signature devices.Was a technical developer for a major integration project for a large financial institution.

  • Created various BizTalk components to facilitate both real time and batch transactions.Transactions were launched through the input of both positional and delimited flat file formats along with transactions via HTTP.Custom development needs were met through the use of integrated Visual Basic.Net components. All mapping requirements were met through the extensive use of XML and the Microsoft BizTalk Mapper.

  • Managed and was directly responsible for all residential services web based activity. Managed complete redesign of Residence Services web structure and front-end interface incorporating Macromedia Flash 4. Additionally, managed redeveloped the Residence Services Intranet Design and functionality to better meet interdepartmental needs. Directed development for web site marketed to prospective Kent State University students. Maintained all graphics for design through extensive use of PhotoShop 5.5, Image Ready and Macromedia Flash 4.0. Application development utilized Microsoft centric technology including Visual Interdev, SQL Server, Windows 2000 Server, and active server pages. All mentioned projects were started and completed during my time within the position.
